Cannes International Exhibition of General Aviation

The sixth consecutive edition of the Cannes Airshow, the only General Aviation Exhibition in France and southern Europe is held at Cannes- Mandelieu Airport- LFMD.

The exhibition showcases a complete range of aviation: Ultralights, Single-engine, Twin-engine, Turbo Prop, Jet, Helicopters, Flight schools, Financing, Services, Maintenance, Avionics, Insurances, Equipment, Accessories. Cannes AirShow has been conceived to be the best commercial exhibition in the aviation industry. The event brings together the main players in general aviation in order to offer the latest industrial novelties and innovations.

The show has established itself as a unique event in general aviation and as a grand business get-together is mainly intended for pilots, owners, enthusiasts and professionals mostly from France, Italy, Switzerland, Spain, Belgium, the Middle-East, Portugal and Russia.

A complete conference program led by various flight schools covers a wide range of aviation themes such as regulation, strategy, flight planning, security and possible aviation career and prospects in the community. Cannes Airshow blends an impressive static display, parallel conference and a notable line-up of exhibitors.

This year's line-up includes Dassault Aviation, Cessna, Embraer Executive Jets, Piper Aircraft, Piaggio Aero, Daher-Socata, Hawker-Beechcraft, Diamond Aircraft, Pilatus, Tecnam, Robinson and many more. A perfect space is also created for a collection of aircraft companies such as Bose, Lightspeed and Jeppesen to present products, services and equipment, creating a perfect networking opportunity.

One of the main and thrilling attractions of this year's show is the international debut of the Cirrus SR22T Porsche. This one million euro Porsche is on display with over 100 other different, innovative aircraft models.

During the closing ceremony, 300 BIAs (Brevet d'initiation Aéronautique– a diploma awarded to students who want to become a pilot) are awarded to hardworking individuals, affirming that the show also values on-going aviation education.
