The Ethical Fashion Show Berlin is a response to the growing trend of fairtrade and eco-friendly fashion, aimed at conscious and inquisitive customers who truly care about where their clothes are made and under what conditions. The annual event is a networking and trade platform for all sustainable and socially responsible brands from all over the world. The show is organized by Messe Frankfurt, one of the leading trade fair organizers, and is a part of the well-known Berlin Fashion Week.

The event welcomes international, famous brands as well as smaller start-ups - as long as the company is related to eco-friendly fashion. Among others, one may find designers using only left-over or recycled materials or brands promoting safety measures in factories - altogether, the event features approximately 150 exhibitors from 20 different countries. The thousands of visitors include fashion analysts, store representatives, private buyers and more.

Moreover, The Ethical Fashion Show features lectures, seminars and various activities for both exhibitors and visitors. Topics covered in the 2015 edition included "How it was and how it will be: the market for sustainable textiles and apparel 2000-2020. Review & Outlook" or "Supporting better factory conditions: what you can do today."

The precise dates of the next edition are yet to be announced - it will take place in late January 2016 in Berlin.
