Food-lover’s Event

The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show is a two-day food-lover’s event featuring hundreds of exhibitors, cooking demos, tastings, workshops, book signings and appearances by Food Network celebrities. With its first show in Washington, DC in 2001, MCES has expanded its national presence and takes place annually in three cities: DC, Houston and Dallas which is in its launch year. MCES is owned and operated by The Tiny Kitchen, Inc.

The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show is a consumer event focusing on food and entertaining with more than 400 exhibitors including specialty food companies, caterers, party planners, personal chefs, kitchen planners and appliance manufacturers. The Washington, DC show includes appearances by Food Network stars Paula Deen, Giada De Laurentiis and Guy Fieri and culinary legend Jacques Pepin, as well as cooking demonstrations by award-winning local and national chefs. The show also includes national and regional cookbook authors, demonstrations ranging from knife skills to holiday entertaining, a beer, wine and spirits pavilion featuring local mixologists and much more.
