International Travel Fair

Guangzhou International Travel Fair is one of the most influential tourism event in China and the entire Asia-Pacific region. Held every year at Guangzhou Jinhan Exhibition Centre, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China, GITF is one of the most entrusted travel fairs of Asia-Pacific region. Emerging out as an imperial exposition, the fair is expected to welcome more than 100000 visitors from all over the world. Organized by Hannover Fairs Shanghai Limited, the GITF invites wholesalers, retailers, ship operators, travel agencies of both India and abroad.

Initiated in 1993, Guangzhou International Travel Fair has been held successfully for 18 sessions. Nowadays, it has grown into an important tourism event for promoting, branding and reaching business deals. The first two days of the event are open for professional audiences and the third day is open to the public.

Many years of experience and development have made the GITF a successful global operation, achieving impressive international participant levels, with the proportion of foreign exhibitors reaching an incredible 46%, and expanding the show’s worldwide influence. The new participants including Tourism organizations and enterprises from Japan, Poland, Ireland, Hungary, Nepal, Cambodia, Guam, Slovakia and other countries and regions, proved once again, that the Guangzhou International Travel Fair is one of the most important annual tourism exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region.

To explore new “after-crisis” opportunities in the tourism market and promote effective restructuring of tourism resources in the global arena, a series of high-caliber events are held in concurrency with the travel fair to convene tourism colleagues from across the world, including the International Tourism Forum (Guangzhou), Buyers’ Night, Field-study.

With an exhibition area of 22,000 sq. m, the fair has nearly 700 exhibitors. To lure more visitors, the foreign exhibitors from Germany, Britain, Malaysia, India and Singapore have incorporated video websites to promote the places. Tourism promoting clips and micro-movies will be screened in the interactivity zone.

Besides promoting tourism, the fair also builds up an exposition to showcase Asian international hotels.
